The role of a school governor is multi faceted, interesting, and rewarding,  but increasingly it involves significant commitment and responsibility. Essentially, the role involves being part of a like minded group of individuals, supporting and challenging the Schools’ senior leadership team where appropriate, with the shared goal of ensuring delivery of the Schools’ strategic objectives that include curriculum development, financial management and control, safeguarding, and as a result achieve the best possible outcomes for all our pupils.
