School Meals

Meals are ordered in class each morning during registration by the pupils and then prepared in the school kitchen.  Every family receives a copy of the menu each half term.  There is a copy on the school noticeboard and spare copies are always available. We aim to charge the same as the current local council school meal contractor and currently we charge £2.20 per meal.  It is appreciated if payments are made in advance by cheque for the week, month or term.  Cheques should be made payable to John Rankin Junior School, with the child’s name and class on the back.

We are fully able to cater for allergies, please speak to the office staff who will be able to pass on any requirements to the catering staff.

As they say “the proof of the pudding is in the eating” – numbers have steadily climbed ever since this move and we now prepare meals for in excess of 100 children daily.
